Problems with K8203 Extruder

I have the problem if i extrude that:

  1. The Motor always make small steps is that normal?
  2. I always get small “blobs”. the extrudet plastic always hang on the nozzel till it is a small ball and then drop of the nozzel.
  3. Starting a print the bottom surface is allways bad.

Any ideas? Do you need some pictures?

Your extruder nozzle may be clogged. I have had problems like this, especially after changing between PLA and ABS filament.

You can try running a small wire through the nozzle to see if there is any burnt plastic inside.

Also, inspect the nozzle for damage. The brass can easily get deformed if the print head runs into anything. I have had to replace the nozzle on occasion, usually after a head crash.
