Problems with extruder

hello,

i’m having some problems with the extruder. when i try to extrude some abs there is coming nithing out the nozzle and the extruder slips over the filament.
how can i solve this?

At first check your temperature setting.

Which temp did you set?

i’ve tried the tips and set the temperature to 250
but i ve just seen that the protective heatshrink from the thermistor is ripped

Does repetier show a reasonable temp?

If, not you probably shorted out your thermistor.
