hey guys new to 3d printing and decided to build a velleman k8200 from maplin however after going through the steps in connecting the printer I can get the printer connected through com 3 but when I turn the to printer on the fan starts for a few seconds then turns off… also second driver down not sure which one as im not sat infront of it at mo doesn’t seem to want to adjust it just stays at 0.01 v so im guessing this is faulty???
could this be causing me issues as I cant seem to get any of the axis to move???
please help before this ends up getting thrown back at the sales guy at maplin lol

Just noticed I don’t have an earth wire going from the transformer to my plug as shown in the manual just live and neutral?

Version 1 K8200 power supplies had a 3 prong plug.
Now they just have a 2 prong
