Problems measuring with HPS140i

Hello all, I bought a HPS140i. I have checked the oscilloscope but it does not work. I have done the following. I have checked with the probe the internal reference signal. A square wave is shown in the screen. However when I tried anything else it does not show anything coherent. Signal on the screen goes mad like in the case ground was not present. Also even DC voltage do the same. I thing ground level is not well connected or so. I have checked there is contact between the clip for ground level and the device connection.

Can I perform some other test?

Thanks in advance

Is the probe GND intermittend or is the problem related to the scope?
In any case, please return the device to your distributor for exchange.

There is a connection between the ground clip and the coaxial conector but it does not measure Dc voltage. It seems it is the scope.

Regarding to send back the scope. I live in France but it a different city from the shop where I bought it. I have moved shortly after buying it. What I should do?

Thanks,
Felipe

Bascally, you can return the unit to any Velleman distributor or you can send it to:
