Problems connecting k8023 to 2633

I am trying to connect the outputs of the K8023 (2wire 10channel remote control) to the inputs of the K2633 relay card.
This wont work…

The K8023 has open collector outputs. I have tested this and when the switch of channel 1 (p.e.) is “on” , the open
collector output switches to gnd. As far is i know from school (has been a long time) this is the principe of open collector ?or not?.

Now i have connected this output 1 to input 1 from my relay card. …without a result.
I haven’t found any information how or what to connect to the inputs of this relay card.
Is the a resistor needed between output K8023 and input K2633 , because on the scheme I see a resistor which is
not in the package ?

Does anyone has experience with this relay card ? is this compatible with the K8023 kit? If not what can I do to make this compatible ?

Thanks for your help already !

K2633 is perfectly suited for control with open collector outputs.
It needs the resistor Rx. See K2633 manual.
First, test if the K2633 works by shorting each input to the GND connection.
Next, connect 1…4 of K8023 to 1…4 of K2633. Connect GND of K8023 to GND of K2633.
Should work fine.

Ok , I will try this this evening.

Another question , Am I wright when I have connected Vext of K8023 and Vdc In of K2633 to the same power supply ?
The K8023 is seperately feeded with an 13Vac power supply

It is not necessary to connect Vext of K8023 as K2633 is equipped with suppressor diodes.

I have tested the k2633 seperate. I have connected this circuit to a 9v supply.
Like you’ve told, i have connected the input to the ground, but the relay doesn’t switch…
I have tested with a second k2633 print, and the result is the same.
I don’t see what i did wrong…

Apparantly, there is a problem with your K2633 assembly.
Check the pull-up resistors R1…R4
If necessary, replace them with 1K resistors.

Hey…i’m feeling quite silly now…
On both k2633 print i’ve soldered the LED wrong.
Cathode and Anode were changed and this blocks the input current.
I have reinstalled the LED’s correctly en everything is working now !!
