I have tried it with 3 different laptops - with Windows XP, 7 and 8, on which I had installed the driver set + Pc-Lab 2000 LT from the CDROM.
But I always get the message that no recognized hardware is connected.
(I have tried both a direct USB connection, and through a powered hub - tried 3 different hubs.)
The Ready light never comes on. Annoying that there is no hardware documentation explaining what Ready means:
Power on, Successfully initiated by the computer, or what?
I have downloaded the new driver software, but not installed it, as the file set lacks a description of how to install.
(I suppose the software included on the CDROM should be usable at least under Windows XP.)
???
On this page you’ll find the latest software and the USB drivers for the PCSGU250:

The PCSGU250 driver will not install automatically. You have to install it manually.
Here you can download the detailed step-by-step instructions how to install the driver in Windows: box.com/s/vh9olqyx3idhhxn8ujwm

Yes, the problem vanished when I updated the driver.
But the documentation should be improved: Some error debug info. should be given:
The meaning of the Ready light should be described.
The CDROM should be updated with drivers for the new versions of Windows,
and/or the downloadable software package should be for a complete installation.
And the use of this should be recommended in the manual.
Thank you for the feedback and the suggestions to improve the software and the documentation.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.
The modifications you suggested will be taken in consideration to be put to the future updates.
