Problem x / y axis after printing 15mm z

Hello together
I got the problem with the x / y axis after printing nearly 15mm in the z axis.
Here is an example

I tryed to solve this with XY-Carriage_Alignment as displayned in the wiki, but it did not help.
Do I need to try this again, or do I have to look at anaother point?
Do you have other suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Dirk

You will need to do the procedure you can find here: k8xxx-3dprinters.crimed.be/w … _Alignment
This will resolve your issue, also use good oil, like sewing machine oil to oil your rods.

1 more thing you could do is check the voltages of your stepper drivers, also found on the wiki.

Thank you for your response,

I will try this and give a feedback this week.

Did you correct the e-steps and calibrate the extrusion? If you are extruding too much, plastic is going to build up and after some time, your head will crash in to it. That will either knock the print off, or if it sticks really well, cause X and/or Y axis to slip. Since it appears to move along the axis of the print and not simply X or Y, Im guessing this is whats happening

Thank you for your suggestion.

No I did not touch these settings yet.
I will check this.

I had 3 suchsessfull prints before.
The first one failed because of a lose screw on the stepper motor of the x axis.
Then 3 succesfull prints (for me really perfect).

But now allways no success.

OK,

  • corrected the e steps
  • oiled the rods (they were a bit dry)

the next print was completely successful.

Thank you for your help
