Our filament (PLA) got stucked twice while printing in white barrel (probably plastic) in hotend. The printer is K8200. The picture shows pieces of filament that were pulled out of hotend (some force was needed to pull it out). Anyone has any idea what could be causing in and how could it be repared?
Sorry, no picture …
Can be your retraction length is set too high.
Try 3mm or less.
What retraction length did you set and what material are you printing at what temp?
Retraction: 1mm
Material:PLA
temp:180°C
Sounds good at first glance. maybe try a little higher temperature.
Also check if the hobbed bolt turns free and is clean and the spring loaded bearing is also turning free and has sufficient,
but not too high tension.
If this is happening while you are unloading the filament.
You need to heat the extruder then turn the large gear by hand (not to fast) about 5 times.
Then pull the spring lever back and pull it out.
