I have a lab power supply 30V 5A ps3005D Velleman and y don.t know to configure it . I need to work with 4A and regulate the voltage, but always with 4A. I try to put it to work in 4A but the power supply don.t give me more than 1A. Please somebody help me and tell me how i can do to work with 4A stable.

Sorry, the PS3005D is a Velleman PRODUCT, not a Velleman PROJECT/MODULE or KIT. As you read in the forum rules, this forum is only for Velleman PROJECTS/MODULES and KITS.

As I think your load has a much too high resistance, it can be impossible for the PS3005D to let flow a current of 4 A (because it is possible then that the voltage to make that happen would become higher than 30 Volts). Check this first before you contact the support link.
