Problem with new EDU05: display shows characters partially

Hi,

I just bought a new EDU05. I ran the EDU05TestDiagnosis.exe utility. I noticed immediately that the display does not show all characters in a good way. Brightness seems to decrease going from left to right. The last 5 or 6 characters appear only partially on the display. Any idea how we can solve this problem? Or should i return the unit to Velleman?

Sorry to read you experience problems.
Probably a mechanical problem in the display (unequal pressure on the zebra strip).
If you supply an address, we can mail a spare display.
