Hello , I ve tried to update the printer with vertex -m1-v1.4-h1
when the arduino software tries to upload the code it gives an error namely
core.a(main.cpp.o): In function main': C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\cores\arduino/main.cpp:34: undefined reference to
setup’

can you help me with this problem?
kind regards
Is your firmware folder unzipped?

also while it is uploading the led doesn’t blink, it just stays on whitout blinking
Did you placed the programming jumper?
Did you select the right com port?
Yes, i used the usb to shunt cable, and i used com 5 for the printer i alsof setted the arduino port at com5
I think you miss understood.
The shunt is a jumper on the board labeled JPROG.
Mine is a blue jumper.
You can see it these instructions

Use Arduino software 1.0.6 or below.

Make sure the printer is not connected to the mains while updating the firmware.
Thank you, the firmware is now uploaded onto the printer thanks again
Kind regards bram
Glad to hear it’s working for you.
