Problem configurating VM204 ethernet card, telenet modem and 4G mobile network

Hello,

I’m using the VM204 ethernet relais card to connect to my alarm system.

I’m trying to get this working with the mobile app vm204.

This works fine within my private wifi network at home.

But when I try to control the card via external 4G network, it does not work.

I have a Telenet router.

I can’t find anything in the manual on this.

Can you advise me what to do to get this working with my Telenet router combined with a 4G mobile network?

What do I need to alter on the telenet modem/router and what do I need to do in the app?

Hi

What you’re looking for is portfowarding.
It’s stated normally in the manual.
Because this is different for each router/ISP. You should look online on how to do it.
Or follow the manual of the router.
