Prints too tall, z-axis problem

Dear all,

I am printing a piece with a size of 120mm on Z-axis :

But my first print was 122, it’s a small difference but it completely make the print unusuable as it needs to fit in another one.

I found some solutions to improve the precision on the Z axis by removing top bearing :

I tried again, same problem with exactly the same 2mm over! It’s good to see that the printer is steady in this difference, but it would be even better to not have it.

Where the problem come from ? Voltage is around 0,5V for the Z-motor. Is there a parameter in Slic3r ?

Thank you in advance for your helps !

Hi. It seems there is a problem in your Z-axis stepping too. You should show your print upclose for us to advise you. I had problems with stock Z-axis rod, so I upgraded it. See: https://youtu.be/wd50_o21O1I
There are even more videos on K8200 on my channel. More will come…

So, publish the photo of your print, so we can see Z layers…
