Bij het het print is mijn toplaag niet mooi egaal, de zijkanten wel.

Please post in the correct sub forum.
This is for velbus only.
It seems your nozzle is to far from you bed.
Does the bottom have the same spacing?

I just couldn’t help replying to this response from VEL337…
question @VEL337: Have you ever used a 3d printer, not necessarily the k8400 but any fdm 3d printer?
I mean I’m sure your intentions are great. But imho this has nothing to do with the height of the bed on the first layer. Or it is to high and barely sticks and has a lousy bottom or it will come loose and fail. But the eventual top finishing quality will not dramatically suffer… Or it had to be TOO low and that causing a partial clogging of the nozzle and results in underextrusion. But looking at the outer shell toplayer it seems to overextruding a tiny bit.
But nonetheless we all can conclude it’s a redicioulis lousy picture which tells us 0 Nada nothing… In combination with a sauce of no information whatsoever except that he’s Dutch/flemish and he’s using a 0.1 layer height.
Information that’s pretty relevant and necessary to deliver imho:
1=material printing
2=temperature
3=extrude rate
4=infill percentage
5=speed settings if changed
6=a couple decent pictures which actually show the entire piece and a few closeups in the best background lighting possible.
Kind regards

Sorry bud my English is so bad that you would not understand what I will explain
@Jeafke yes i’ve used K8200 and K8400 for countless hours.
All VELXXX persons are people who design kits/modules btw.
The reasons i gave that answer, I had a problem that day that looked fairly similar. And fixed it by bringing the bed closer to the nozzle.

Kan je meerdere fotos posten?
Liefst van verschillende kanten als ook de onderkant.
Is dit bij alle objecten het zelfde?

I apologize for my (kinda) rude reply VEL337 (Note to self: don’t respond to forum messages while intoxicated) But why would the outer shell print just fine? Only plausible answer I can come up with is that the Top and bottom fill thickness setting is set to 0??? Kinda makes sense don’t you think and would cause this similar behavior imho.
Also a tip for everyone starting with 3d printing do not only buy black filament to start your 3d printing hobby with. I made the same mistake myself and eventually came to the conclusion that black behaves entirely different than other colors. The reason for this is that the black types of filament are “garbage” from other colors that gets recycled and mixed with black coloring… All colors can be made black afterwards, but not the other way around.
So a huge tip for beginners make sure the first spools you buy and load the first time are white or natural color. These should be generally speaking be made out of virgin material and have no contaminations whatsoever which make them easier to print with default settings.
So far so good to be honest… only the bud should be written with a “t” instead of a “d” but I understand you’d confuse that with a body part and assume its a “d” everything else is just A-Okay. Trying is the best school
And everyone loves “shit of mouse” on his bread
Kind Regards
