Hello guys i have a problem while printing with PLA
If it starts to print a flat surface these gaps and holes appear.
i am printing with a temperature of 190C°.
My printer is still pretty much unmodified.

Hi opti2000,
what values did you set for …
Did you check the preload on the filament and hobbed bolt, i.e. is the spring in the extruder thightened enough?
Cheers,
kuraasu
For the hearts i used:
Layer Height: 0.20
Solid layers: top: 3 bottom:3
fill density: 0.25
extrusion width: ?where do i find that in slicer?
extrusion multiplier: 3mm
And yes the bolt is tightened.
Extrusion width: Print Settings, Advanced tab
Which Silc3r version are you using?
Opti2000,
I had to set mine to 4 bottom layers and 6 top layers.
It seems to work better.
Extrusion width for Top solid infill Is 110%
EDIT:
i am using version 1.0.0RC2
Hi opti2000,
with your layer height that’ll give you 0.2 mm * 110% = 0.22 mm extrusion width, which should also be noted by Slic3r in the first few lines of the generated G-code. This value is very low, considering the nozzle diameter of 0.5 mm. Try setting the extrusion width to at least 0.35 mm (enter “0.35” or “175%”). Higher values also work, but will produce not so good surface quality.
If the infill or other parts of the print look strange, like the flow through the nozzle isn’t constant, you can increase the extrusion width for those parts of print, too. Not too much at once, but rather step by step with tests inbetween.
Cheers,
kuraasu
PS: additionally, you can increase the fill density for such small objects. This way, the top infill has to bridge smaller distances, creating a smoother surface.
thanks for these tips. I will testprint the heart again.
