Can anyone give me an idea what this rattling could be? http://youtu.be/V2t5VUVv9sY
It was consistent throughout the print (during the infill printing I think).
The object is a pulley similar to this http://www.thingiverse.com/make:26580.
I had that sound too.
it is the extruder mechanusm
reloaded the filament and it was fine

Hi
I think it is the big “fan” (blades) hitting the enclosure. I get the sound when it is moving rapidly side ways.
Great, thanks, I’ll check that out
I experience the same sound, my guess it that it comes from the Top Tube Bearing (printhead).
On my printer it has a noticeable clearance between the rod and the bearing.
so far it doesn’t seem to be affecting the print result, and blends in with the lower fan…
I have the same issue. When touching the fan slightly while printing the noise is gone. It is the fan blade and axle that shifts inside the bearings of the fan during infill. Apart from that the fan spins just fine. This type of fan is not designed for shaking heavily. If it would have been installed vertically then the noise would also disappear! I’m thinking of getting a new more decent fan but I would need a new plastic part that’s glued to it since it cannot be removed as it will potentially break!
