I’m trying to load the filament. But the printhead remains cold.
Tests indicate that the heating element is working and that the sensor is working.
No red LED flashes on the printhead.
What could be wrong?
The print head also remains in the right-hand corner. And so does not go to the center of the print bed.
Is there any error on the display?
Is it displaying room temp?
The only error message is:‘MINTEMP’
And indeed the temperature indicated is the room temperature
OK this is really strange.
The only time you should see min temp is when the temp on the LCD is at 0C.
Generally with min temp indicates an open on the thermistor.
Check the wire for the thermistor make sure they are going to the middle green connectors and the screws are tight.
You might try disconnecting them and check the resistance of the thermistor.
At room temp you should see around 100K ohms
Thanks for the directions.
I checked the thermistor and it has a resistance of about 100K ohms.
The screws are tight tightened in the middle green connectors, but the temperature does not rise.
The only temperature in the display, which is indicated, is above the height of the z-axis: 25/0
Please make a photo of the LCD and printer header, then maybe it’s easier for us to find the mistake
Sorry I don’t know how to add images to this post
Thanks, here is the link:
The temperature in the display is for the second extruder, I think you have the firmware loaded for two extruders and not for one.
This is how the LCD looks like with the firmware for 1 extruder
That’s right, the machine is completely prepared for two printheads.
When loading the filament, I choose which head of filament will be provided.
But I can try to set up the Firmware for 1 extruder.
I think this fixes the problem, because now he looks for two extruders and there’s only one
Many thanks,
It seems to work.
Cheers
Great, have fun
