K8200 3D Printer K8200 - Computer related problems

Hello, I have build the k8200 3d printer. But I have a problem in the printer settings. I chose the right com port. But in the manual it is shown that the printer name also changes from default to k8200. But that doesn’t happen on my laptop. If I just ignore this fact and go on installing, the printer does not react to anything. The red and green leds are lightning but that’s all. After a while log writes :seriele communicatie fout: System.IO.Ports.SerialErrorReceivedEventArgs.

What can be the problem here?

Have you installed the drivers for the printer card on your laptop…

Have you tried to see if there is another connection (serial connection)?
Check you baud rate, should be 250000.
Make sure Reset on Connect is set to disabled.

(I have installed repetier V1.0.0)
And the printer is now responding.

I can now go on with the manual.

you can reset the connection and try again.
