HI,
Got the printer in September. Assembled it with no problems. Tested everything and it was working fine.
Tried to print something but the plastic wouldn’t feed through the nozzle. Tested the feeder but it worked fine. Only when trying to actually print a design.
Unfortunately I was then off ill for 3 months and have not had a chance to use it till now. It has been in a locked room and untouched since I was off.
Turned everything on but the bed won’t heat up and there seems to be a problem with the PCB.
I have a friend who works in electronics and he tested everything:
1: When disconnected and metered the resistance of the bed >1mΩ and there is no reading on screen (heat print head) when plugged in).
When thermo cables are swapped a reading appears on (print bed temp).
2: When turning on the heat bed, the LED doesn’t light up on PCB
There is no voltage on the pins to the bed. (leads metered from PCB to Heater)
Have already tried things listed on forum from other posts but no joy.
