Print Stop Problem

After assembling the K8200 Printer and starting the first print, it occasionally suddenly pauses while printing and still lets plastic pour out of the extruder, ruining the part unless I quickly press the (OK) button on the Manual Control page, which then continues the program as intended, but also leaves a blob of plastic where it left off. This seems to happen at random intervals, and has wasted plastic on 5 model and counting, and forcing me to carefully monitor it at all times. It also had this Error(checksum mismatch, Last Line:---- ) followed by a resend which I presume is at the time intervals that that I saw it stop. If here is anything I am doing wrong, please notify me and any solutions are welcomed.

It could be your computer is not keeping up with the printer. It might be too slow. Check the computer requirements.

Also check your communication settings to be :
250000 baud, reset on connect disabled and look if your usb cable is not too close to power cables.
Switching lights (especially fluorescent tubes) or heavy electical consumers can also caus communication errors.

cheers,

We have the same issue with a relatively speedy PC. We’re using the original 0.84 version of Repetier, which is linked to the firmware. Does the updated firmware and/or app address this random stoppage?

Have you checked your communication settings?
Maybe switch to another USB cable. Also check that the cable is not near any power cords.

Instead of using 0.84 try 0.95F from this link.
It already has the ini file and drivers built in the install package.
