Print quality low

Hi,

Since I first built my printer all my prints have been pretty low quality on the sides you can quite clearly see each layer:

Could this be because of the Z-axis wobble and how can I resolve it?

Yes the problem is the original Z-Axis. If you want to solve it, you need to change to trapezoidal screw like TR2x10.

Looks like heavy z-axis wobble. You can improve this easily by printing yourself a better motor holder for the z-motor (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:144813 or similar) and buy a flex coupler.

For best results switch to a trapezoidal screw, like thebuglife suggested. You could go and get the K8204 leadscrew kit, which includes all necessary parts.
