Print problems K8400

Hi
Vertex K8400 with standard software and firmware (singel nozzle)
When trying to print a rather long panel I 'm getting some strange results.
The panel is too long, so I will have to adjust the position in Z 45°
i’m doing that in Vertex repetier host before slicing.
The result is that the panel gets a “trapezoid” shape.
I will try to add some pictures with this post.
The printer works fine when I’m printing smaller objects som the problem must be software related.
Something happens with the STL when adjusting it i Z 45°
I have tried 315° too , same result.

Your pictures are not displayed in your post.

Your object is probably too long and fall outside the boundaries. In Repetier, you only can use the part of the bed located to the right of the black dot. And you can’t use the front 20 mm. So the print area is 200x180 mm.

Yes I think that you are right.
The only way for me to be able to print this panel might be to maximize the work area.
I would guess that the work area is set when programming the Arduino board?

Raby is correct - what he means is that the single nozzle cannot reach over the the far left hand side of the bed. The maximum work area is already given, but unfortunately RH allows the user to place the object in a forbidden zone (left of the black dot) and the printer will attempt to print it (and obviously fail). That zone is only printable if you have a 2nd nozzle, in which case that particular nozzle can’t use the first 20mm of the right hand side (and so on).

Hi,

does this mean that the printing area is shifted when using both Nozzels instead of on so that both nozzles could print on every position in the 200x180mm area?

Hello

i had the same problem, i wanted to print a main board cover/cooling duct but it was to large.
after searching i changed some settings in the firmware and now i can print 215 mm long.
You can make it even longer, but watch out for your pulleys and printhead, test it first in repetier manual mode.

Thank you Alexander!!
I knew that there must be some way to solve this problem.

You made my day
