Hi, have you ever had parts of a first layer that just won’t stick to the bed.
Like this? you can click on the little (+) in the top left of the photo to zoom in.
The next photo shows where the previous print overlapped this one & where my fingers touched the bed when removing it.
Yes, I forgot to clean the bed between prints. Thought I’d post the photo as it’s a good example to share.
Printed on 3mm glass @ 60 Deg, PLA @195 Deg.
Hi,
Have you ever tried blue painters tape?
Hey, I print on glass… With the green of blue plastic folie on… I got it even working great on big pieces, without warping…
But my bed temp is over 113 degrees… The ABS is heated up to 245 degrees…It works great.
The bed is consuming about 20 Volt 3.4 - 3.7 amps…

Hello - also having sticking issues. New build, 1st layer seems to barely extrude (on glass), leveled bed, etc. Kinda blob like printing/not printing on 1st layer then the head just knock it off since it isn’t level print. What settings with heated bed / PLA do you use? For ABS is the bed able to goto over “113 degrees” without any modification?
Thanks for your insight!
