hi,

I just bought a K8400. After a night of assembling, i tried making my first prints this morning.

At first, the filament that came out the head hit the bed, but detached directly when then head moves. The filament starts bending up and went nowhere.

After that, i tried adding gluestick on the bed. That fixed the issue at first. The first cm prints perfect and the figure stays at its place. But after 1 cm, when the gluestick dries out, the half printed figure detaches, and the print is lost.

What should I do to solve this? How can I force the print to stay on its place?

Are you sure the print head is not too far from the bed? If it is, the filament is not squeezed on the bed and doesn’t stick.
Almost the same goes if it’s too close (filament is scraped).

Hi,

I think I was not accurate enough while calibrating the bed. I have redone it now, and now it looks like the filament is squeezed better. I restarted my print, which is now running for 10 minutes, and until now it looks good. Fingers crossed!
