I am looking for a preamp to raise the signal to my MK114. I want to trig the MK114 with one channel from my drum machine but the direct signal from the drum machine to the MK114 isn’t strong enough. I want to be able to run the preamp with a battery, because i think there are enough cables involved as it is… 
Is it possible to run the K1803 with a 9v battery, and will the signal be strong enough to drive the MK114, or do you have any other kit that will work?
