It can be found on the downloads page of our website.

Should work with USB to RS232 converter.
Ah yes, just found the software page (well hidden, it felt like finding waldo… :p)
Thanks for the quick reply, and it seems to work with PCUSB6 just fine.
Anyone tried with the Aten usb->rs232 cable?

I haven’t managed to get things up and running.
Operating system=Vista.
Dear support center!
I can’t bye recommended USBtoRS232 converter. Please email me the electrical demands to RS232 interface for proper operation (voltages & currents for correct operation of optocouples in the PPS10 interface cable).
Thank You.
Unit is compatible with standard RS232 signals.
There are no opto-couplers in the PPS10 interface cable.
hello all,
I see this thread here is long time not active anymore, but I hope somebody could help?
may I first introduce myself a little
I´m car technician, own shop since 35 years, working on all kind of cars.
since long time I work with the VELLEMAN PPS 10. now a friend of mine told me that I could connect the osci to a computer. so I connected the cable ( one side goes in the osci, the other side has a RS 232 plug ) with an USB adapter to the computer, downloaded the software what is mentioned here, installed the software, adjusted to COM 2 ( USB ) and there was nothing happened. no scope picture, but when I click on " save plot values " and later have a look at there are several numbers. from 0 to 255, then behind this sign " = " and then behind all 129.
example:
Trigger=
Hold=
Memory=
AC/DC=
Probe=
0=129
1=129
…
…
255=129
so something has been transfered. but there is no grafic to see.
what is wrong?
I made those settings:
Baud rate = 57600
Parity bits = none
Stop bits = 1
Data bits = 8
DTR = disabled
RTS = enabled
No handshaking, no flow control
any help would be appreciated
thank you
You will need to enable PC communication (Menu > Screen > Send)
