So I just powered up my printer, plugged in the power supply and USB, and connected through RepHost. I homed the axis, and the printer homed all axis fine, I started heating the bed, and noticed the red light did not come on. I tried restarting the program and the computer, then I noticed the blue light on the power supply was gone. I measured on the circuitboard where the powersupply comes in, and got 0V. The power supply has 229V in. So I guess it died…?
Can be te case.
Try to disconnect it from the printer and mains and let it settle a minute to let the overtemp/overcurrent protection reset.
Then reconnect and try again. That will show you if it’s really dead.
Yeah that did not work either, so who do I contact about this problem? The retailer where i purchased the printer or Velleman support? The printer is only 2 months old.
You can do both.
I would try contacting your reseller first, that may be quicker.
If that gives no result, sen an email to: support (at) velleman (dot) be
You can request a new power supply by submitting a support ticket
