Part One of a certain facemask just finished printing at 200 microns:
And after a bit of post production:
Sure beats carving it out of rigid foam like I used to!

Wow, very nice work and printing, realy amazing.
@Tops, did U try to create and print the blades for ur quadCopter ?
Helicopter blades are a real chalenge to design and print, and then, I tried to design the Walkera V100D01 rear rotor blade but I didn’t succeed, lack of patience or experience ? ! ?
Did someone could print such smal and difficult thing ?
Here is a time laps in 4K
Bought my printer in January but had some problems but finally fixed it and started printing things.
Most of the time I have been printing have gone to printing a large staff at 0.2mm.
Not my own design

[quote=“raby”]My wife wanted red easter bunnies (if you’re wondering why red it’s to match the ones in Koksijde on the Belgian coast).
I’ve printed 3 Stanford bunnies with 3 different scales (0.5 - 1 -2x). The biggest one uses almost the whole printing area (18 cm wide and 17 cm high).
The quality is perfect whatever the scale (the smallest is printed in 0.1 mm and the others in 0.2 mm). The reproducibility is perfect. Not the slightest flaw on the bodies. There’s a small irregularity under the ears (due to a slight overhang).

Hi Raby, could you provide a download link for those prints? They look amazing!
Thx!
If I remember well, I used this one : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:287082
I printed them with 0 infill in red PLA.

Thanks, will be trying them soon!
Prints are approximately 6cm long, on a raft to allow pristine first layers. And whoever’s thinking why I simply didn’t move SLA if I’m so into small portions here for tall babies, YOU can assist me decide which inner organ to sell for it! ![]()
Hey guys, so I gave myself a little 3d print project for a repair job in my house.
I used the existing plumbing in the bathroom and the shower kit I used wasn’t a perfect fit. As it was a bit different from the previous
shower I had down there. In the process of putting the shower walls in we had to put the water pipe hole in a different location than
what was designed for the kit. as a result I was left with a big hole on a non flat part of the wall. So the included cover would no longer work.
Here is a quick write up are some pictures.
thanks for taking a look!
Next I scanned the profile of the wall I made with folded aluminum foil.
Then I quickly modeled a shape in Moi3d - pretty easy!
I used Simplify3D to setup the printer profile and I printed it out twice. One in grey and one in clear. I don’t have white so I need to see
which one is better looking. Maybe I’ll paint it…
Before I secure it in place I have to decide on color. I tried rustoleum chrome but I don’t think it will last in the shower so I may just use glossy white spray paint.
the grey piece I sanded it down and it feels so smooth, I don’t want to cover it! Now a new shower head fits good.
and it actually fits!
