Three questions about the PIR416 (which is a terrific little module by the way).

  1. Is the sensor itself available separately – that is without the control module? I need a replacement.
  2. I need to separate the sensor from the controller by about 20 feet – is that possible? I have the Molex connectors and have no problem fabricating a cable with the right connectors. I’m particularly interested that one of the wires is tripled – the ground I suppose. So that raises the question of what gauge is needed for a 20 foot run from controller to sensor. The wire gauge I have is AWG23, but I can double or triple it for the ground.
  3. For trouble shooting, can I get a schematic of the sensor or at least a clear indication of what runs on the four connections between sensor and controller?
