Piezo and electret preamp in the Mini Module format

dear Velleman team

i love you new MM and VMA series of mini modules !

small, cheap, practical, wonderfull, thank you for it !

now, i would love to see in that series few more modules for audio

mainly ultra-small audio preamplifiers:

one specifically to preamplify ceramic piezo capsules, with the adecuate very high impedance input and a line level output

another specifically to preamplify small electret microphones with the adecuate power supplied to the electret

both of them should of course have some little trimmer or mini potenciometer for the gain control

i have read somewhere on the net that your VMA309 microphone/sound detector for the arduino doesn’t preamplify the analog signal of the microphone,
the LM393 comparator is used for the digital output only, is that correct ?

Dear Ninon
Thanks for Your feed-back & for purchasing our products,
The analog output (AO) is indeed not amplified, it is connected to the Input of the LM393 comparator.
Please see the schematic of VMA309 which is available from our website since today.
