Hello there!
My HPS40 turn on, the backlight work perfectly but not shows any graphics. I try to adjust the contrast, but is impossible, because i can´t see anything.
I have also tried pressing the reset button for 10 seconds, but when boot up again the same thing, not picture show.
For reference, the HPS40 It seems to work correctly as it makes sounds when I press keys, the only thing is it does not show image.

Sorry, the HPS40 is not equipped with a speaker.
Are you sure your device is a HPS40?
Anyway, this problem is not user serviceable.

Yes, my unit is the HPS40 and when turn on/off the device it make a “Click”.
Maybe the IC12 is corrupt or anything in the screen is damage.
In 2003 this unit was repaired for the same reason, I have the albaran of repair.
Is it possible to do a repair estimate?

That click most likely comes from a relay that switches.
