I am considering a PCSU200. I notice in the spec. that max. input is 30 V AC and DC.
My question is:
Is 30 V. max for accurate messurments or for not destroying the instrument. Will for instance accidently connecting the probe to 220 AC destroy the instrument?
Attention:
The PCSU200 is directly connected to the PC via the USB cable.
If you measure on the AC power grid, all parts of your PC may be connected to the electricity grid voltage!
Therefore, the inputs are rated at 30Vp.
