I always end up connecting the first blue Oscilloscope channel to the function generator output entering my test circuit and the red Oscilloscope channel to the output of my test circuit.
This just to compare the two wave graphs presented in the Oscilloscope graph screen.
But when test circuit output is not as aspected and further inspection is needed, there is no Oscilloscope channel left to inspect the circuit!
Wouldn’t it be useful to also present the function generator wave in the Oscilloscope graph screen by the software as an additional button?
The wave is already seen seperately in the right function generator graph.
Maybe in a different color like green in both graph screens.
This way it is almost like I will have a 3 channel scope! The green one is then a virtual one.
