I am using PCSU1000 oscilloscope in Windows 8.1, but since a few week the driver of this scope does not work anymore. I have installed the driver and I have first disabled the Driver Signature Enforcement. It worked for a month, but since last week I get the following message when starting up PCLAB2000: “Error in opening Created Key”. Also the PCSU1000 driver in the device manager shows error: “Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)”.
Reinstalling the driver has no success anymore.
Please advice how to get the PCSU1000 scope driver working again in Windows 8.1.
Have you tried to uninstall (remove) the driver before reinstall?
When removing, you have to check the check box “Delete the driver software for this device”.
When done, unplug and plug the PCSU1000 and install the driver again.
Here are the instructions how to update the driver if you do not remove the current driver first: box.net/shared/66aei7j31s

Right click the PcLab2000SE icon and then select “Run as administrator”.
This disables the message when the software is run normally in the future.
