I have a PCSGU250 scope. Both CH1 and CH2 measurements decrease with time. With 5V square wave on CH2 and a 9.6v battery on CH1 after about 5 minutes CH2 is down to 2v and battery reading is 6v. After an hour the readings are all most zero.
I have updated the software, with no change.
If necessary how can I get it repaired? Where do I sent it?
Strange problem indeed.
What is the result if you use sine wave?
Does the amplitude be decreased and the waveform peaks be clipped?
If this happens, it may indicate power supply problem.
How long time the PCSGU250 have been in use?
If less than 12 months, the warranty is still valid.
I have some screen shots, I cannot attachment them. Is there some way to get them to you?
You can upload the pictures to a free image hosting service and post links here.
The sine wave does the same thing.
Is the sine wave just attenuating but not clipping?
There seems to be a lot of DC offset too.
The DC offset should disappear after calibration: Options -> Calibrate.
Anyhow, it seems the oscilloscope is defective.
