I bought a new PCSGU250…
And was checking out the function generator…
I am trying to test… how do i test…
Do i touch the tip of my probe to the center , generator…
do I have to make a load, etc…
Currently i dont see the pule/waveform… it just gives me a line, at a voltage…
New to your unit, 2 hours and i search for set up, or test… so i cam to you.

Yes, by doing this you should see the waveform on the oscilloscope screen.
No load is needed.
Is the oscilloscope working properly?
As a quick test, touch the tip of the probe with your finger.
You should see some (50Hz/60Hz) noisy waveform on the screen.

how do you read the date of mfg code… serial number 201818354
just bought, and thought it might be a referb, or old stock, etc…
