Dear Sir:
I am considering purchasing the PCSGU250 but I require some information first.
I am an experienced programmer and I would like to configure the PCSGU250 to generate waveforms from data generated by matlab, mathcad, PSPICE, or EXCEL. If this is possible, please link me to some examples.
Better yet:
Can I configure the PCSGU250 to read raw data from a .dat file or .txt file and then generate the waveform?
If the data needs to be structured in a specific manner, please provide me a link in terms of formatting this data in the specified data structure.
Please answer this question, because if I can do this then I know that your product will be easy to work with.
Hi,
I think you can use a .txt file to do this.
The best way to find out is download the software (PCLAB2000LT) and install it on your machine.
Without the unit the software will start in “Demo mode”
In the help section under generator it will give you instruction on how to do this.
You can download the software from the link below.

I hope this helps.
Thank you for your reply.
I am certain the software engineers at this company looked into the possibilty of this feature and they can provide me with cetainty, exactly, what this product is capable of doing.
Your answer is helpful, but I am seeking a definitive answer, from an engineer. This way I do not purchase the product and then because of an incorrect assumption I might have made about the product, I will not be able to do what I require the product to do.
Thank you for your reply anyway. I know an engineer assigned to this device can answer this question for me in about two seconds and I know I will get a definite answer.
Thank you for your reply. I hope they will answer this simple question soon.
