I’m having a problem with calibration of my PCS500. The software (PCLAB2000se) load fine and recognizes the device on the LPT port but the software hangs during calibration and CPU resources are 100%. The only way to get out is to kill the application in the task manager. I have changed the ports setting of LPT1 to the various choices available:
AT
PS/2
EPP
ECP
None of these appears to make a difference.
I’m confident the PC is not the issue (Dell Optiplex GX280; Windows XP SP3) as I had PCLAB2000 (ver 1.3) running on the system. I had several unsucessful calibration attempts, but I upgraded the software to the se version because the application would take several minutes to launch.
Any advise is appreciated.
Thanks.
