I purchased PCS10 and installed PCLab2000 on my PC working on Windows 8.
I can read measurements and record data in txt files which I can then read (but as a curve) again by the command Open Data of PCLab.
But what looks strange is that:
if if started PCLab as administrator I cannot have access to the files I created although the Open data opens the correct directory
I can open and find the files when I start PCLab as simple user
but in all cases I can’t find the files in the directory with windows explorer and I can’t either open the txt files with Excel as Excel does not find the files in the directory!
When run as administrator, the files are located in the folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Velleman\PCLab2000SE\data
If not run as administrator, the files are located in the folder: C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Velleman\PCLab2000SE\data
