PCS10 Event Recording Problems

I have a PCS10 logger and want to record some signals that are relatively short in duration (.2 sec). I am using a time base of 1S and can see the pulses no problem when recording. My problem is that I can only see 17 seconds in time. I have tried using Autosave and click the Run button when recording is done. So in my case lets say this is 2 minutes. I then go to File>Open Data and open the folder I created in Autosave as test. The problem is I can’t see all 2 minutes of recording, just one screen length or a 17 second snapshot, which appears to be the last 17 seconds. Using the scroll bar takes me off into no recording.

If I go into File>Open Data I notice that the text document has a padlock on it. If I go to My Computer>C>Program Files(x86)>Velleman>PCLab2000SE>data I see no text files to open as a text file or in Excel. If I approach them from Excel or Notepad they can also not be found.

Am I doing something wrong or have I just simply missed something???

Updated software from 2.00 to 4.04 still same problem.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
