I have a PCS10 event logger and wish to record an event that changes state twice in a 24Hr period. The maximum time/division is 1000 seconds and there are 17 divisions per screen so I would need to continually record across 6 screens. Although the manual states that in Auto-save the recording will be continuous, it only logs the first screen and the time elapsed counter resets each time the viewed screen changes. The screen shows that the recorder is in Auto-save. How can I achieve a continuous record over a 24Hr period? I have been through the help function etc. and I appear to be set up correctly, is there something I have overlooked?
Regards,
Simon
When the recording in the AutoSave mode is complete, click the Run button up to end the recording.
The data will be saved to the file.
Select File menu option Open Data and open the file.
Now you can view the whole record using the arrow buttons next to the horizontal scroll bar.
In the View menu click Markers dV & t to check the time and voltage. You can move the markers on the screen using the mouse.
How can I achieve a continuous record over a 24Hr period?
The data saved to the file is in text (.TXT) format. You can open this file in Excel to view the whole record.
