PCS10 DC-Measurement accuracy

Hi, I am Jürgen, the first time in this forum and my english is bad.
I use the PCS10 4 channel signal recorder for measurement of single battery cells i.e. 1,2V/C to 3V/C with PcLab2000SE.

  1. Problem: The voltage I see on the voltmeter jumps for example between 1,15 to 1,25, also the displayed curve is not straight.
  2. Problem: I use the 3V-Range and the voltage I measure with an externel Voltmeter shows 1,35V/C.
Is there an defect in the PCS10?

Thnaks for your answer.

Is the battery connected to a battery charger when measuring?
If yes, this can cause the problem.

Is the battery totally “floating” - not connected to PC ground etc. ?
Does the problem occur on all four channels of the PCS10?

Have you tested with other batteries, e.g. standard alkaline 1.5V battery?
