I have read all thread relelated to USB support without a remedy to my situation and I should say the manual is very poor on the question. I google everywhere on that topic code 43, USB reg key, but I cant find a solution. I understand than the driver should be something like input.inf in the window driver directory but I suspected than Window could not reconize the serial number of the equipment or the vendor name. Some information for troubleshooting will be welcome. I have use also some utility to remove all driver USB to reload evrything without sucess. I will try to use another computer with XP to see if it could be a problem of hardware but in any case, I will like to know if the install driver program is usefull somehow I beleive this is only good for installing legacy driver on Win98 or NT. Will be nice to have a driver.inf with all details relate to this instalation when window failed…
The PCS10 is a HID (USB Human Interface) device and needs no driver to install.
The driver is included into Windows operating system and should load automatically when the PCS10 is plugged in.
I beleive I have a conflict with another similar instrument as USB Multimeter, prolific USB-RS232 adapter than share same data base. I try to remove all other installations but without success. Possibly If I have mor einformation abiut vendor ID serial number or else I could try to debug the conflict using reg key editor. Have your other suggestion?
