PCLAB2000 transient recorder software BUG

Hello,

I am using PCLAb2000SE version 4.05
After using the transient recorder for several minutes the software is unable to shutdown!
The application comes to a complete deadlock, killing the task is the only option to shutdown the software.

This problem occurs under windows 7 and is 100% reproducible on every PC.

Please fix this problem in a new release or reply for extra info.

Best regards,
Christian

Does the problem occur also if there are no other software used during the recording?
(All other programs closed except the PcLab2000SE.)
With what oscilloscope(s) the problem occurred with the PcLab2000SE?

It happens on every PC in windows XP and windows 7, no other software running.
Oscilloscope I use is the PCSU1000.

Regards,
Christian

Does the problem occur only if the transient recorder is started when the oscilloscope is still running?
If this is the case, then the problem can be avoided by making sure that oscilloscope’s ‘Run’ and ‘Single’ buttons are not pressed “down” when the transient recorder is started.

Yes, in that case you press these buttons before I start the transient recorder it will certainly stall.

But when I don’t use the start or single button in scope function and start the transient recorder after more than 4 screens the recorder makes the application stall when turning off!

Also in combination with the function generator (PCGU1000) it also causes a problem.

Please reply!

Does the problem occur only if you close the program while the transient recorder is still running?
Does the problem occur also if you first stop the transient recorder and then close the program?

The problem occurs in Windows 7 and Windows 8 when I first stop the transient recorder after running it for at least 5 minutes and then close the program.

Also tried in Windows XP, same problem. Windows reports:
Error signature szAppName PCSU1000GU.EXE szAppVer:0.0.0.0 szModName:hungapp szModVer:0.0.0.0 offset 00000000

Please Reply.

I also have a complete error report If you are interested, but I can’t submit attachments.

Please advice.
