Dear Velleman
PcLab2000/PCSGU250 - it’s a good product that has many possibilities. Including PCLab2000 spectrum analyzer has a linear or logarithmic scale in the frequency axis.
But it is sometimes necessary to represent the amplitudes of the spectral components not only in a logarithmic scale, but in a linear scale.
At the moment, for the linear scale of the spectral characteristics necessary to translate the values of the FFT by software programs (eg, Excel). And then perform calculations Lin = 10 ^ (Log/20), where Lin and Log - spectral component values, respectively, in a linear and logarithmic scale.
If these calculations are performed directly in PCLab2000, it will expand the functionality of the device. At the same time, it should not cause unreasonable complexity of the product.
Velleman may include the option of a linear scale DFT in its future development?
Thank you for the feedback.

This feature can be considered for future releases.
Almost a year was.
Whether there is this function in the current release.
I’m sorry to inform. This feature has not been decided to implement.
