Pcgu1000

Hi,

why does the PCGU1000 allow 25MHz for sweeping whil only having a frequ range up to 2MHz.

Íf I generate a sweeping from 10Mhz to 10Hz how preciseis the frequency?

I need to knwo it as I have to decide if the unit is the right one for integrating it in our systems.

We need to seep around frequencies up to 10Mhz with +/1 10Hz for around 10 sec each. Is this possible?

With best regards,

Marcus Schmieke
Íf I generate a sweeping from 10Mhz to 10Hz how preciseis the frequency?
There is 44 bit phase increment register used in the generator. The frequency setting is very accurate.
The accuracy is same as the crystal oscillator accuracy of the generator +/-100 PPM.

Thank you for the answers.

Until which freuquency is there a somehow acceptable square signal?

Marcus

The square wave looks quite “square” up to about 5 MHz.
Rise/fall time about 17ns.

Thank you. Thats fine for us.
