I am using the PCGU1000 generator for a while but since my upgrade to windows 10 the driver is rejected because Velleman didn’t sign it. Installing the driver was quite complicated because the driver signature enforcement needs to be shut down before installing. At that moment installing of the driver was no problem and I could use the generator, but after rebooting my computer the driver signature enforcement kicks in and the driver is kicked out!!!
Did you also do the “Workaround”?
If not:
There in the software package is file “Release Notes.pdf”.
Please see the section: “Workaround to use the PCGU1000 on 64-bit Vista or Windows 7”
This procedure is usable for Windows 10 too.
Still wondering why you don’t simply sign the drivers like every company, that saves a lot of issue for your customers!! It costs a company only € 60,- per year to buy a code signing certificate!!
Every user must be a computer specialist to work arround all the driver issues.
Especially in Windows 10 with “Driver Signature Enforcement” build in.
