PCGU 1000 - superpose functions

Hallo,

is it possible to superpose two functions, so that a function of lower frequency and one of higher frequency result in a function of pulse trains (n_n_n____n_n_n____n_n_n)? Or is it possible - as the case may be that the provided software isn’t able to do that - that a different program (such as Matlab, etc.) may generate the function, and send it to the PCGU 1000?

Kind regards,
Thomas

Depending on the case both methods are usable.
Could you please describe more detailed what kind of functions you like to superpose. - What are the frequencies of the two waveforms.

Function 1) square wave, 5 kHz, 50% duty cycle, unipolar (positive)
Function 2) square wave, 0,5 Hz, 50% duty cycle, unipolar (positive)

So they superpose to pulse trains with one second on-time and one second off-time.

Sorry, this waveform does not fit to the max. number of samples (8192) of the memory of the PCGU1000.
The maximum frequency ratio of the superposed signals of 1:1000 seems to be possible.
