PCG10 w/ PCMCIA and ExpressCards

Hi

I am trying to get the PCG10 work with ExpressCards.

We have been running successfully the PCG10 with PCMCIA cards like the ones provided by Quatech, SPP-100 (www.transdigital.net).

I suspect the problem is within the voltage.

A PCMCIA card puts out 5V and 3.3V where as an Express Card puts 1.5 and 3.3V.

So, I suspect the PCG10 needs the 5V output. Is this so? Can anyone confirm this information? If so… there is no way that PCG10 to be used with ExpressCards.

Yes, PCG10 needs 5V output from the LPT port.
This is the other important thing when selecting the PCMCIA Parallel port card.
The other important point is the direct software access to the port.
