Pass on/off signals through the powerline

Hello there,

I’d like to know if velleman has a solution for the following idea:

  • I have 3 garages, 150 metres apart from each other.
  • The electric power for those garages is the same: it enters in the first garage and then the cables run for 150 metres to the second and another 150 to the third.
  • These cables have four wires: three phases (230V AC @50Hz) and one neutral. Only earthing is individual.
  • Besides the electric cables, there’s no other physical connection between the garages.

Now, each garage has movement and temperature sensors that, when reaching their pre-configured thresholds, trigger a 5V DC signal. When a condition returns to its normal state, the signal is turned off.

Bottomline is: do you have a product that could send and receive basic on/off signals through the powerline?

Thanks in advance for your attention.
